Home | First message in thread | Previous messageI called the repair shop and was advised that the magnet was magnetised. They said it would cost $80.00 for them to come out and fix it. He then said to completely unplug it for 45 minutes (it needs to be unplugged, not turned off) and then plug it back in. When I plugged it back in after the 45 minutes, it worked fine. I never thought that would work but it did. Let me know if it works for you. I'd be curious to know. Apparently this is a common occurrance during a storm or power outage.
