hi thanks for your tip,i have opened camera and checked everything found nothing,left it on my bench for 2 weeks,and took you advice through frustration,i dropped the camera few times and took the battery out and reinserted swiched on and WOW no more E16 message and the focus worked great,thanks again for tip.
