Marvelous, today 20.12.2009 i tried and it worked. but what i did is, i took the chip once out and entered it. then it was all right. thanks, sheer Holy Smokies - this worked... I have a 2003 DSC F717 and was out pricing new cameras becuasse I thought this one might have had it. We use it alllll the time.... Just saved $1,200 bucks or so on a new setup...Thank you.. It is a pretty weird, but really works. Far Out!! The dropping technique is the bee's knees. I dropped it from a height of only 6 inches onto a carpeted floor and the E:61:00 error went away. Camera is working perfectly again! The Sony techs are probably crapping themselves now that their little money making secret is out now eh? Thanks a million to the one who suggested this! Peace & Love Followed advice and it is working GREAT! Thanks again WOW Thanks George! I have a Sony T7 and had the memory stick error c:13:01 and took your advice and dropped it from only 6"(cause I was scared) and now IT WORKS again. I am LOL and sooo happy. I love the camera for its size and was about to buy a replacement on ebay for $130 but now I can save my dough. Is this what the techs do?I guess if "it works, don't fix it" I tried to give to lens a few medium hits by the hand palm, and now it works. Thanx! A was triyng to find out how to solve the same problem and found this. I did something similar. I beat the lenss with a nail, not that softly, twice. And the problem was solve! It sounds stupid, but worked! ... thanks george. Too funny. I would have bought a new camera after encountering the same problems, but held off becuase they won't use the same memory sticks. I googled around, found this thread and smacked the camera against my hand a few time. It's good as new now. I can't believe this actually worked. I was ready to throw my Cybershot DSC-P100 away, gave it the last ditch effort of dropping it on the floor, and now it works better than it has in months. If you're at that point where you've given up, just go for it though it sounds completely ridiculous. |
