YES...I listened to JPY and everything he/she wrote was right. I pulled the panel off, swept the dust as best I could and followed the red lead down to the yoke. 2 black screws and tweaked it and viola. I'm good. don't know for how long but hey, I'll take it.

to whome it may concern:
I have a 1997, 32", sony trinitron(kv27s26), which, when it is turned on, there is absence of video(image)but retains clear audeo sound. I have tried almost all solutions I can get from a variety of sources and come out with empty hands. I need your help badly!
