i have the same problem. the clock is IMPOSSIBLE to set. if you find out how please let me know too. thanks

  I thought I had the exact same problem. That's how I found these posts. Then I looked more closely at the faceplate and my stereo is actually a KD-G300. G as in George, not 6 and is 666.
  
  Anyway, the JVC site doesn't have a manual for the 6300, but there is one for the G300. Maybe it will help, or maybe you read it wrong like I did.
