Re[6]: JVC AV-32750 TV Will Not Turn On

Dixon Anderson Posted May 30, 2006, in response to:Ken Walker

Hi Ken, I did this some time ago so the details have faded a bit. What I can remember is it is not hard. Screws come out of the case easy, the back separates, pulling it up with the face of the tube on a carpet. Seems like there were a couple small connectors connecting case to chasis, easy to disconnect and get reconnected in the right place. Carefully vacuum out the dust, especially to expose the components and there identifiers. Search for that capacitor on the main component chassis. It's marked clearly once you find it. It was simple to unsolder and easy to put a new one in once the two holes are cleaned out. Put things back together and hopefully it works. Let me know how you come out. I have some details written dowm somewhere so if you need more help let me know. Dixon
