This is amazing I was laughing and jumping for joy at the same time. I got Sony DSC-P100 camera. We were in the middle of a fishing trip when the lens got stuck and error came up. I was SOOO frustrated with it, and I love my little camera. I had it for a little over a year and it worked just fine. So when it all happened I "helped" the lense to retract and when I got home googled the error... BINGO!!! I really din't want to take it in to get fixed and on the other had was really worried about dropping it. I simply powered the camera off and "helped" the lens and then just smacked the part of it where the lens is on my hand a couple of times and .... IT WORKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! Such a technical solution :o) Thank you sooo much for the advice.
