No, sorry, I don't know of any lens-cap class-action lawsuit being organized. We've been working on this JVC lawsuit for two years now, and from what little I have learned from the lawyers, a lawsuit has to be focused and not include too many claims or it has fewer chances of standing in court. I hope you find out how to get your problem solved. Consider what many of us did: Stop throwing good money after bad and get an inexpensive camcorder from a competitor. My Panasonic 3CCD has been working great.
