Same thing happend to my KV-2790R TV. I haven't talk to repair man yet. Suddenly, picture and sound are gone. I can hear click every time I press power button. I smell something burning.. Any one has any idea what to do with this problem or sony company, please post it here. Exactly same thing happend to two of my in-law's sony tv in past.
