It works! JPY knows his stuff. As a last ditch effort, I went to the net to find an answer regarding my Sony Trinitron and its blinking display. I found this forum and tried JPY's answer. It worked!! I shopped around for a new tele this afternoon and now it looks as if I can keep my money.....THANKS
