Re[5]: JVC service or questions

peevi Posted Mar 07, 2006, in response to:John Neilson

John, Thank you for a response. Actually, there is nothing wrong. I bought it by itself, thinking I would be able to use as a sub. After seeing its input I thought I could hook up a RCA socket and still make it work like a standalone powered sub woofer. Do you happen to know the pin out for the 9 pin DIN connector? Thanks Peevi

Peevi I also picked up a JVC PWM303 powered sub for a THM303 system. Mine has an 8 pin mini din. Any luck finding the pinouts for yours. If as John says they are analog it should be easy to hookup a cable to the connector. I am going to risk taking mine apart and see what there is inside. It seems to me that the THM303 receiver had 700 watts of power which would lead me to beleive that the satelite speakers (front, rear and centre) would be powered by the receiver. Any thoughts you have would be helpful.
