Home | Previous messageI have the same camera and I also have had this problem, but It only last a few seconds and then the lens picks up the light. Try turning it on in front of a bright bulb to see if it is searching for more light. There are several problems I have read about and mine hasn't been affected yet.

WOW - I was having the SAME exact problem with my jvc D70U and found your suggestion to hold in front of a bright light - it worked!!! Thank you so much! I just had to write. Question for you...do you know what the guy is talking about who replied to your original post in Feb? I don't know what the acronyms stand for that he says will also fix the jvc problem.
