Home | Previous messageProblem fixed, for anyone else who may get the same, this may help. First I removed the cmos battery, and that was a tempory fix, and I was able to use camera, as the dew sensor seem to require the cmos battery to work. Next I had found other forums which listed this as a common problem with sharp and other handycams, and that the due sensor just needed the soldered points resoldered . I have done that, and seems to be working better....now i can start recording my new baby boy. Thks for that tip about adding the resistor, the only problem is how do you know what value Resistor, is there a standard resistance to use ?

Hi, Im facing the same problem, but how do you know which point is soldered? Hi, Im facing the same problem. Removing the CMOS battery works indeed, but as you mention, this isn't the ideal solution. I would prefer to do the resoldering, however, how do you know which point(s) need resoldering? |
