HomeEO1 Message damn it! I have a problem that says EO1 error: remove and reattach battery. What could be the reason for this? Is it because I left the tape inside the camera for an extended period of time? If so, how can I solve this problem? It seems that the tape is stuck and the only way that I can get it out is to open all the screws. I went to a service center and they want to charge me $100 just for the service! Hunh?! No way! Please help...

HI Rose. E01 means that the mechanism loading assy is jammed for some reason or another but figuring out why does take a minute or to and usually does consist of taking the unit apart. Could just be a bent guide arm or maybe it has just jumped time. Let me know if you want it repaired and we can put a rush on it for you. Rex |
