Korg D1600

Help with D1600

I'm a recording studio engineer and I have good knowledge of the Korg D1600. I can probably help anyone though it without too much difficulty. Mine was used quite a bit before I got a good Mac & Pro Tools. It's a good machine, but I sold it to a friend. I regret it now because it's easier than Pro Tools for live stuff because you don't need to carry a computer and a mixer or rack interface. It's also more fun than Pro Tools and easier to learn as well. In short, the D1600's better for songwriters but Pro Tools or Digital Performer is better for engineers or producers. It isfar more expandable better for production E-Mail me with any questions on the D16100 or for general pro audio issues.

When I try to write a song to a CD I get an "disc full"; when I try to erase it says "blank disc"; when I try to format it says "illegal drive/operation. I've tried more than one disc, and I've used discs from this batch one other time with success. They are Memorex High Speed CD-RW. Any ideas? Thanks so much for any help. Sicerely Brad Barnum

Hello, I currently use a Korg D1600, and would like to learn more about it. (Would like to get really proficient) I have the owner's manual, and the tutorial VHS tape, but need to get more elaborate with scenes, effects, mastering, etc. Is there any further documentation or training courses available to help me progress with this? Thanks, ML
