Hi! Same thing happened to us. The other night our Sony 36" trinitron just died. We thought maybe we hit something on the remote that made it "sleep" but no matter what we do, we can't seem to "wake it up". It just died but the red stand-by light flashes once per second. But that's all the action we can get out of it. The tv's about 4-5 years old and I have been told that it would cost about $200 to fix. May as well buy a new TV! This really pisses me off...
