KODAK CX6330 ERROR CODE E45

ERROR CODE

I HAVE AN ERROR CODE E45 ON MY KODAK CX6330 CAMERA.
I HAVE TRIED THE ONLINE KODAK TROUBLE SHOOTING

IS THERE ANY OTHER HELP OR IS THIS CAMERA TOAST?

  i searched in google i found your question and answers.
  
  i tried the same by hitting thecamera in my palm
  
  i really wonderd its working fine man.

  I had the same problem with my Kodak Camera
  Like some recommeded, I took it apart, sprayed it and it still did not work!
  I gave it 2 slaps on each side and believe it or not its working now!

  Thanks for that guys,I had almost given up. I thought I would give it one more belt (palms were really stinging now!!!).Hey presto, the damn think worked.!!! Only thing was the little dust cover ring on the front fell off, but a touch of super glue should do the trick there.

  yhea....!!!!!!! you was right by biting the camera against my hand. Y had bit this turned on, then this torned of. By swithing the camera in on, the lens turn back and this now work!!!!!!! The only one problem is that I can't make the fist two zoom.

  I got a CX6330 as a Christmas gift from my Son about four or five years ago and that time I never got it to work, after a real short impatient effort. Its been in a drawer for at least 4 years and yesterday I needed something better than my phone camera so I spent all day today reading the book trying to get this thing to work. Got the E45 error at least three times along with the lens sticking closed or open a multitude of times. Spent all day playing with batteries, buttons, tech support etc.. NADA! Found this site and read that this is a common problem with this camera, then rolled my eyes. I really hated to smack a brand spanking new never used camera, but I did. Three times on a thin foam pad on the desktop. Now this NOS POS works! I can say it's not dirt or batteries causing my problem since the camera is brand new. Thank you guys for the high tech fix!
