Homeusing firewire to capture video on pc I was using fire wire cable and port to capture video to my pc and it worked great for about 2 weeks. Now when I try pc doesn't detect the camcorder. I tried ner firewire pci card and new cable and no luck. I have tried a few different capturing softwares. Windows movie maker, Nero express and a couple others and nothing. Anyone got any ideas what went wrong? THANKS for any help!

I have had the same problem with downloading from my GR-D31EK. Dell say it is due to an incorrect driver...the firewire has been changed twice and the camera appears to function correctly according to Dixons. Let me know if you have managed to find a solution as my problem sounds identical and I am running out of ideas. Thanks. |
