HomeConvergence problem with JVC AV-48WP74 tv Hi, my tv is less than 2 years old, the RGB lines won't converge. I tried all different ways per the manual and internet sites to adjust the convergence (automatically and manually) but the lines will not converge. I suspect certain components have failed. Let me know what parts i have to replace.

I have the same problem with my JVC projection. Is everyone sure there is no sort old recall on this. I'll never buy JCv again. I didnt think so many people had the same problem..well, Im ready to try to fix it can someone can please send a diagram so I can start this project, thanks. I have this tv with the same problem. I found that there is a cooling/lens fluid between the lamp and projector lens. For whatever reason a leak, extreme temp. changes an air pocket will form in place of the fluid loss and dip the grid of whichever lamp it may be in my case red. I found the fluid online but ended taking some from another TV that was beyond repair, good luck. db anyone have any suggestions of where to buy the convergence board (ssb-5068a)? I don't really trust JVC, with all the issues and stuff I'm willing to bet that even if they do take the order it will end up on backorder and I'll be without for another couple of months. Anyone know a reputable source online to order from? Shawn, I had the same problem, one of the sets of wires does not unplug. Anyone have any suggestions. I just wanted to let you know that my JVC AV-48WP74 just started doing the same exact thing recently. It can adjust the red and blue, but the green is messed up. Trying to figure out what to do as well. |
