i did reboot , i tried almost everything . I spoke to a computer tech and they said i need a new cd-rom. The problem could be because when people take out the cds they should push the eject button. Instead of closing the unit with your hand the wheels inside maybe out of allin ment.So my new one will be used with the eject botton not my hand. The funny thing about this whole thing is my computer is new and i only used the cd tray 3-4 times the most. thanks for your concern and pass the word along . 'DON'T USE YOUR HAND TO PUSH THE CD IN'! USE THE EJECT BUTTON'.

There's a little hole along the bottom of the drive. Push the end of a paper clip in there and it will pop out. Not sure why it's doing that but at least you can the disc out!!
