i did reboot , i tried almost everything . I spoke to a computer tech and they said i need a new cd-rom. The problem could be because when people take out the cds they should push the eject button. Instead of closing the unit with your hand the wheels inside maybe out of allin ment.So my new one will be used with the eject botton not my hand. The funny thing about this whole thing is my computer is new and i only used the cd tray 3-4 times the most. thanks for your concern and pass the word along . 'DON'T USE YOUR HAND TO PUSH THE CD IN'! USE THE EJECT BUTTON'.
