Hi Oscar, Not wanting to sell yet. I ordered a battery from a link off Aiwa's home page, thru TRITRONICS, inc. Was pricey, $27.56 total. As I recall, I bought this unit new in Germany, mid 1980's, at a military exchange. It hasn't seen much use which is why I wanted to get a factory battery. I recall it can record with extremely high fidelity. Why do you want a unit like this? A new MP3 can also record data with external mic in a much smaller package. The cassette is actually obsolete technology, but this is a finely crafted unit. I remember it was expensive. These days it's not worth anything without a PB-4 battery. And even then it's value is questionable. Theo
