I agree, get over it. The XL2 is so over-rated. I have had 4 so far & have given up in desparation. White balance is so bad, incompatability with other cameras & DV decks, & the wide angle lens is useless unless you are shooting widescreen. Crappy effort Canon. Can't you get it right. Trouble is I hate unethical Sony so I've strapped on a firestore to my old XL1s & bingo, the old camera lives on.

I have bought the XL2 recently, but I am not sutsfied by its so called features. It's pictures are not as crispy as its manual says - in fact they are noisy. And at 25p panning shots are not smooth. I guess I prefer the XL1, unless somebody says I'm making mistakes. I've been using XL1 for 4 years and shot over 8 good movies.
