I just removed the rear case of my Optio S (to see how easy it would be to replace the broken LCD myself - it doesn't look like a task for ordinary mortals!), and the case comes apart fairly easily once you removwe all teh exteranlly visible screws (it hinges up towards the top of the camera. If the dents aren't too bad, I suspect you could remove the case, carefully use happer/pliers/whatever to coax it back to its original shape, and reassemble... Good luck! ghtt
