As m.dajani suggested poor solder joints on the vertical out IC will cause this problem, as will a number of things in the video circuit one of which is a IK shutdown that senses low CRT (picture tube) emission. Both conditions will blank the video on your TV. Eric

i am also having this same problem. Where is this board? (there are a few of them) and where on the board are these pins located? thanks jeff
