Excellent diagnosis by Carlos. IC804 controls red convergence. But in time IC805 will also fail as well. Replace them both with STK392-110. Also, check for cold solder joints in the vicinity of these ICs. If you want a schematic for this unit e-mail me.

Do you still have the schematic for the AV-48WP30? I need to replace those chips also. Someone menthioned in a forum to purchase the 150 version of the chip instead of the original 110.

I think I have the same problem with my AV-48wp30, convergence problem with Red bleeding down from top right corner of screen. Could you send a copy of the service manual / schematic to me also? Thanks
