Did you ever get a reply concerning which posts of the JVC DVM70 on/off switch to epoxy? I need to repair my JVC.

I found a replacement part at NewarkInOne online for $62. I never tried gluing it because I didn't think it would work all that well. The part was really easy to switch out. You only need a small screw driver, a soldering iron to unsolder the mic and reattach to the new part, and a bit of patience. It ended up only taking about 30 minutes. I tried looking for the part again online but couldn't find it. Here's the part number though from my invoice. You could just contact them by phone it you can't find it online.
