JVC Camcorder (GR-AXM17US)

Is VHS-C format in India and US different

Hi, I intend to buy JVC Camcorder (GR-AXM17US).I was wondering if the camcorder will work with VHS-C available in India. I don't have much idea about camcorders. Can somebody enlighten me about this model. Do all the parts are available in India-like battery etc. Regards, BJ

    USA uses NTSC format and India uses PAL-B format for video. They are different in horizontal/vertical frequencies. You will not be able to view your recordings on your TV in India unless you purchased an NTSC/PAL VCR.
