Home | First message in thread | Previous messageI have had the same problem with an older JVC camcorder. Fixing it is usually more expensive than the camera is worth. Though out of warranty only 4 months, JVC said they would give me free parts but I would have to pay for labor. Labor costs were $140!!! The camera new cost $400 and a new replacement (whatever replaced it) would be $300. So I ditched the camera and bought the next model up on eBay for $112. I suggest you do the same, and never buy another new JVC camera again. Gary
