I too have a Panasonic SA-DK10. The CD spindle motor gets quite warm as the fan doesn't work, eventually it starts binding or even jams. Dismantling the unit requires a bit of electronics knowledge skills and necessary tools. This motor should draw no more than about 10ma once serviced. Machine the motor shaft preferably in a lathe with a fine polishing paper, and re-assemble and install. I was able to oil to motor joint but when I was putting everything back together I heard a loud sound and now I keep getting a F61 message and the unit shuts off. From one problem to the next. My cousin told me to just buy a new unit from another manufacturer. |
