Home | First message in thread | Previous messageHi! I hope you can help...I have an 15 year-old Sony Trinitron and recently the picture became distorted and there's snow. The sound, I assume because of the snow, has a buzzing to it. Also, until just yesterday, when the tv warmed up for a half hour or so, the picture would restore to normal. Now it remains fuzzy and warbly. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Please help!

It would help if you posted the model number (ie KV-27xxx, but check to see if your TV has "line in" or "aux in" inputs. If so, check how the pix and sound are when using these inputs (from a VCR/DVD). If the pix is Ok at these inputs, then your TV may have a poor solder joint on the Tuner or IF Block or possibly both. |
