Home | Previous messageHi, My 35' JVC TV is only a year old....I have this black rectangle box on my screen.....it covers up 2/3 of the picture....when i hit a button on the remote or on the front panel...the black box will go away for a few seconds and then it comes right back.....I tried to reset the internal soft codes....I unpluged the power code all night last night and this didnt help. Can you help me with this?

It may be as simple as having the the Closed Caption Text Mode on. Troubleshooting says you can press the Closed Caption button until you select "off." You may need operational assistance direct from JVC. Call (800) 537-5722 and see if they can direct you thru the procedure to get that off your screen. |
