HomeStuck cassette in the DSR-200 I live in Costa Rica and I have an on-going problem. My DVCAM cassettes are getting stuck in my DSR-200 camcorder (they won't eject and a beeping sound keeps sounding). I had it in for repair 7 times and had all mechanical parts including the motor replaced. But the problem keeps continuing. Even the technician doesn't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do??? Help... (Is the DSR-200 known for this problem?)

I have one of the earlier models of the DSR-200 and experienced a similar problem. We discovered that there was a recall issued on the earlier serial numbers to repair the problem and our camera fell under the repair. Sony repaired it for free. Unfortunately, I can't recall what exactly was causing the problem. |
