Home | Previous messageI have a Sony CDX-A15RF Compact Disc Changer and I got an E-99 error message. I've searched the itnernet for over an hour and tried to fix it; some say that it is a disc jam and I need to check the wires or press the reset button, maybe near the hidden head unit? I use a command controller and I have a standard head unit, no loose wires, banged it a little, even looked for a reset button, nothing! What can I do? My unit was manufactured in 1991 in Tokyo, Japan and it is unit number 3-360-720-01 and 172647, hope that helped you in helping me. Thanks for your time and efforts! I really want my cd's back and listen to them too!

Look on the Hide-away Unit for a reset hole. Use a ball point pen and push in. If you have disconnected your battery that would be the cause as the program is then lost. Good luck Hi there. I found your error message on the net about "error 99" did you find a fix? If so could you kindly share the info as my Sony 10 stacker cd player is coming up with the same error Dom |
