Help, my SONY DAV S300 doesnt give a sound
My Sony DAV S300 system doesnt make a sound. When turned on system lights up and runs DVD and CDs but the speakers are dead.
What might be the problem??
I have tried the "MUTE ON/OFF" but nothing happens.
The display lights up and shows no error message. I have checked all cables and there seem to be no shortcurcuit. The system have worked fine until a week ago. I also opened the box to check the fuse and its ok.

Hi,
I am haveing the same problem with my DAV-S300. There does not seem to be any problem with the operation and the front panel screen shows looks and I am even getting sound to the phono jacks when I play a CD but the speakers are acting like they are on mute but they are not on mute. I dont even get the test tone when its operated. The machine is not putting out sound at all. If you or I receive a reply as to the solution, please let me know and I will do the same.

Im having the same problem, and the system has worked well for 2 years.
