I have the same model and it did the same thing. Have you received any ideas? i have an SA-HT80 when i turn up the volume at -28, suddenly display f61 an shutdown, the owners manual said there is an short between the speaker wires, also i replace the power module IC501, but the unit continues with the same failure, i pay $60.00 for the power module here in PUERTO RICO, SOMEBODY HELP ME ! Had the same error code, whomever hooked up speakers shorted them out causing the F61 error code when turned on. I have read some other solutions and decided it was IC501. Replaced it and unit works like new. Be careful to stip only about a half inch and watch polarity when hooking up speakers. Steve i have proplem in my system audio pansonic model [sa_ak5] in the screan it writes [f61]so i need advise how to fix thes paroplem TENGO PROBLEMAS CON EL CODIGO F61 it appears that many different panasonic products get this error it is a short or fault in your internal audio amplifier and will have to be replaced CD-player... SA-AK17 (about 5 years old) same problem (F61 Code) but had no problems til now??? Considering replacing unit, NOT with PANASONIC I have an PANASONIC SA-HT80, when i turn up the volume at -28 suddenly display F61, I went to the owner manual troubleshooting pages and this mean "the speaker cord may have shorted", speakers are in good performance also i change the IC501 PWR MOD ($60.00) but the unit continues with the same problem, somebody help me, thanks a lot. |
