Hi Ray, I have the same problem. My tv went out during a thunderstorm and it wasn't even on. I have removed the d1555 transistor and it seems bad. Will buy another one to install just to see. It is the horizontal deflection output transistor. Talked with my brother and he said in should be the vertical transistor but without a schematic I would have to guess which one it is.
