I am soo glad this forum is still up 4 years later. I tried a a bunch of light smacks for about 10 minutes to no avail. then i got mad enough to give it hell and smacked the crap out of it, pretty much hurt my hand. But now it focus's and works like new! Just smack the front of the camera very very firmly with the palm of your hand, almost to the extent that u think u might break it and that outta do it if a few light smacks don't do it first.
