I am also having the same problem. My DVD play just started doing this off and on for about two months now. What can I do to fix it. It is sad that you spend all this money for something that just stop working after a short time of having it.

Yes, I had the same exact problem. What you need to do is go to a Electronics Store and buy a can of air. Spray the can directly into the DVD player when the disc tray is out. Then try to put a disc cleaner in and if that doesn't work repeat spraying with the air. If you have a humidifier in the room take it out for it damages the player.

It is weird that suddenly in last few weeks,it is 3rd post on this website about the same problem...I am also getting NO DIC on all 5 CD changer.I called customer service and they told me to reset the system by pressing tune mode on system and >10 on remote button. It does reset the system but nothing to DVD system. Also tried to drop the system from about 2" height as another friend suggested but unluckily it didn't work for me.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance,
