Home | Previous messageAfter reading other emails on this same error message, I decided to follow the advice of one that did not require taking it to the shop and having it repaired. I hit the barrell against the table with two good whacks, and it the error message disappeared. The zoom now works and so does my auto focus and manual focus. Problem solved, believe it or not. I held my breath because I was scared I would break it, but now it's fixed.

Thanks for the comment Ashley. I think I accidentally hit the barrel when i put the camera bag on the floor and the error E:61:10 appeared. After reading your comment, i hit the barrel again, lightly and the error went away. Thanks for your comment. I think this camera is very sensitive to any kind of impact to the barrel. Thanks again. |
