My SR VS20 works ok with the firewire port but has troubles writing (and sometimes reading) DV tapes. Also have trouble dubbing. And trouble with SVHS. A most frustrating situation with an expensive piece of "Professional" equipment. I've had it in for checkout with a local VCR repair place and they could find nothing to repair. Dick Bayerl
