I have a sony TRV17 that's giving me the c:31:42 error. I've read in some other boards that if one takes apart their camera and re-assembles it, that that sometimes fixes the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, and as such, I still get teh C:31:42 error. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

To everyone having this C31.22 or 23 problem, as I was - unbelievably, the answer is to smack the side of camera sharply with the palm of your hand a couple of times.
