HomeI have a sony tv 27" with trinton tube. I can not turn it on at all with remote and manually. The fuse is ok. can someone kindly throw some light on what part may have gone bad and what I need to check for. I can use multimeter and check resistors an d diodes etc. Thank you for your anticipated help

I have got exactly the same problem I have the same exact problem and I wish that someone would reply with some info... Mine just clicked off 3-15. Cannot turn it back on Was working ok until then. It was purchased 11-93. Is 10 years the life of this TV? no prende el power Hey y'all, Check the comment on the thread about nine lines previous (Sony TV stopped working- anonymous 4/Jan/2004). C'ya I'm in the same boat- here's what I've found so far: check Q601 & Q602 for shorts. R611 is a .1ohm resistor- will be open. These are located in the power supply secection. It's also possible that the horizontal output transistor will be a dead short (located near flyback transformer). Hope this helps. |
