I had the same thing happen. I worked out a repair on the ones (3)that I've seen. If the contacts on the ring are okay a little bit of silicon and reassemly will cure it. Trouble is most of the time the ontacts are ruined. The 4 posts have to be in good shape also. Getting the ring is the tough part. On one that I saw that they lost the ring I made a rotary switch setup that operated the same way Email if you're interested in info and drawings

Not sure the reason you are looking for one. Is it because it broke off? Mind did and I had it repaired, I had mine fixed at a JVC dealer in Chinatown NYC. They can re-attach it but just last week (a year after the repair) it broke again; this is how i came across your message here. I think it cost about $80 to repair. I don't know what to do now. pay another $80 every year when it breaks or just sell the piece of sh-t. The best and most reliable way to fix this is to replace the whole control unit assy. with the JVC improved part. Part cost is about $125.00
