Sony CRF-V21 receiver

I have this Receiver CRF-V21... and cannot get anywhere with the Sony People .Been On the end of a telephone for days on end

I see a few postings on here about the on off problem on the
CRF -V21 receiver but no answers as to what the outcome was ..Can anyone out there Help It seems Like an standard fault on these radios ..a standard fault as lots of folk report this same thing ..on and off in 2 seconds or less . Help ! thankyou all. 73.
