This 1992 vintage (i.e. s/n: F10724088) was working fine while playing its 6 multi-track CD and single track CD. Then it stopped working after about 5+ hrs of continuous use. As a result, the single track door will not open now. I did manage to remove the cover and was able to remove the single track CD by separating the front door somewhat from the base using a plastic knife.

At any rate, the single track door will not open for releasing its single track or tracks from the multi-disc magazine play either manually or automatically. The only means I have for getting CDs from the mult-disc magazine to play is to move the left vertical armature forward for engaging the desired CD. I then move the left vertical armature backwards or away from the front so that the selected CD will now drop into the actual horizontal track that plays the CD. Once the CD is mounted here, I'm able to hit 'play' and only that CD will continue to play, but not the others.

Please advise me on what part to replace and its part number, along with a brief decription on where to find the part within the CD player and simple instructions for installing the replacement parts.
