i have a jvc av-56p585.. i do not have the orginal remote.. i use an univeral one.. which does not work on the menu on my tv.. my closed cap/text is on.. and i can not get it off thru the menu button on the tv.. 40% of my screen is black.. i can get to the closed cap.. but it doesnt have the option to turn on or off.. please help
