I want to transfer a lot of U-Matic tapes to 10 bit uncompressed video via my Kona card. I have a VO-9850 but read that "Sony added a visible head switch glitch in the output of the industrial U-matics. but not to the BVU series. Do I need to buy a BVU deck in order not to see this glitch mark at the bottom of the video when transferred to the computer? Or is there some way to get rid of it on the VO-9850?
