This model is not really known to suffer from this complaint in the same way as does the "D" followed by two digit models (and a few others) that are notorious for it, and likewise were the only range of models that about 3-4 years ago I had composed comprehensive instructions on how to permanently get over the problem.

Unfortunately this being the case the only thing I can suggest you could try is with the aid of a hair-drier on its lowest setting to blow a few 10 second bursts of mildly warm air into the open cassette holder in a hope that it will clear this difficulty, you will of course have to leave the camcorder for a maximum of slightly over an hour after doing this to allow time for the memory to reset because there is a time delay built into dew sensor circuitry, this is done as the clearing time for moisture detection isnt an exact thing as although the sensor might be cleared the alloy drum might not be.
