Re[2]: Trouble with a Sony Trinitron Model KV-32S20

Hi, I had high hopes for this working for my problem, but it didn't make a difference. I did see the color of the screen brighten slightly. But when I turn the tv on all I see is a brief flash of a white line on the screen that disappears after just a second, same thing happens when I turn it off. Nothing else.
I'm guessing this means my picture tube is fried? While I have the back off of the tv is there a way I can order and replace the picture tube myself?
The tv is too heavy for me to take to a repair shop so it has to stay here.
Please reply if you know if I can buy and replace the picture tube myself. Thank you.

As added information to my problem. Those of you with this model can relate. When it worked right, whenever I turned it on it would make one "click" when pressing the power button, then a second click a few seconds later when the picture appeared on the screen, for 14 years it's always worked this way. Now that I can no longer get a picture on the screen, when pressing the power button I get the initial "click" but since the picture never appears I never get that second "click", and the red light flashes constantly on the front. I get full audio just fine, but no picture at all.
